In particular, the Sacco shall undertake:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><p><b>To promote thrift among its members:<\/b>By a<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ffording them an opportunity for accumulating their savings and deposits, thereby creating a source of funds from which loans can be made to them exclusively for provident and productive purposes<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><p><b>To ensure the progress of members and Sacco: <\/b>Through c<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ontinuous education programs on the proper use of credit, reduction of poverty, human dignity, and co-operation<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><p><strong>To apply the co-operative principle of cooperation: <\/strong>This are set among\u00a0co-operatives in order to promote members\u2019 interests. In furtherance to its objectives the Sacco shall affiliate to the relevant National Co-operative Union and the Apex Sacco.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the attainment of the above objects, the Sacco may do acts and things that are permissible under the Act, rules and these By-laws. This includes but is not limited to acquiring property and chattels and doing all such other things as are incidental or consequential to the economic enhancement of its members&#8217; interests, provided such an act is approved by the members in a general meeting.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Strategic Objectives (Short Term and Long Term)<\/b><\/p><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crescent Takaful Sacco has formulated two sets of strategic goals. The first set is focused on Crescent Takaful Sacco attaining a Financial &amp; Institutional Turn-Around within a two-year period from January 2021 to December 2022. <\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second strategic focus is on sustainable financial &amp; institutional performance over the next five-year planning period.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are specific values unique to Crescent Takaful Sacco focused on two values: Corporate &amp; Co-operative Values.
